  • Welcome to my corner of the world! I’m Magen Pastor, a Houston-based curator, artist, and entrepreneur passionate about blending creativity, community, and commerce. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve honed my expertise in event production, brand partnerships, and storytelling—crafting meaningful connections between people, art, and culture.

As the founder of Southern Kindness, a contemporary western art gallery, I’ve challenged traditional gallery models by spotlighting local and regional artists while supporting mental health initiatives. My gallery is more than just a space for art; it’s a hub for connection and kindness, where creativity and community come together.

But my journey doesn’t stop there. My blog is a reflection of my multifaceted life as a creator, over-30 entrepreneur, and almost empty-nester rediscovering myself. I love collaborating with designers and small businesses to launch capsule collections—think jewelry designers, bag creators, clothing brands, and even hat and boot makers. I also partner with lifestyle professionals like fitness trainers, travel companies, and villa rental spots to inspire personal growth and cultivate unique experiences.

With a foundation in fashion production and a deep love for curating and storytelling, my work is about more than art or events; it’s about building relationships and empowering creativity in every form. I believe in creating spaces—both digital and physical—that celebrate individuality, foster inclusivity, and inspire kindness.

Join me on this journey as I continue to curate, create, and connect. Let’s build something beautiful together!
