One amazing foundation that is so much fun to stand behind is National Lemonade Day. Our neighborhood does a yearly garage sale walk and I could already tell that Mila is going to be very business minded. She loves that you can sell an item for money and in return use that money for something else. Its extremely important to instill these values in kids early on. There are only benefits.  National Lemonade Day is all over the states and in Houston it is May 5th. Sign your kid[s] up online and pick up one of the backpacks; there is a 14 lesson book to prepare your little one. I can’t wait to sit out infront of our yard and see them smiling from ear to ear. I can’t wait to decorate! So much to catch up with on blogging and the business end but find myself going back and forth from blogging, pinterest and making our list. 

Mandy invited me to this private affair for Lemonade Day at Lisa Holthouse’s beautiful home. The Ralph Lauren team was a partner for the party and had models and accessories throughout her living room. Ran into many familiar faces and my two best friends! Monica and Bethany; we had no idea that one another was coming I thought it was all about Lemonade Day and they thought it was all about Ralph Lauren. Sometimes we just have too many events and get so busy, we’re usually pretty good about syncing our calendars. I know May is about to be crazy for all of us so it was good spending a little time together.

Dress Code was Yellow. My dress is from asos.com, open back and beautiful i lovee these passed the knee hems.  Wearing the perfect LilahGabriel necklace for this event, the backing of this necklace is yellow patent leather My nails! haha I got a little festive with the yellow themeMandy Kao founder of the Mandy Kao Foundation haha i love us

PINKBERRY HOUSTON

I use to live in L.A at one point of my life and when I moved back I had this idea to open up Pinkberry locations everywhere. Pinkberry when I lived in L.A was huge! It was at its peak, around the time Paris Hilton had to stop at a Pinkberry before going into jail for her month long or so stint. 

I was 20 at the time and had no clue on how to start one, and heard they were hard to start in general. Within that year pink berry immators poped up EVERYWHERE literally every shopping center now has one. 

The twins and I frequent another type of frozen yogurt place I have to admit, only bc its so close to our house, but when I heard there was going to be a Pinkberry in Houston I was pretty excited, I still love their original; and maybe it reminds me of when I use to live in L.A. I do miss it. 

Here are some pictures from the opening night! I couldnt have expected a better party, it was so much fun and I loved seeing fashionable parents out with their fashionable kids!

It’s a Pink Affair!

Hotel Zaza {Houston} and Susan G. Komen Hosted a Pink Party last week on their rooftop pool. If you were luck enough to get your rsvp in time kudos to you, I unfortunately got turned down.. whaaaww. Until that is, I posted on facebook the issue and my friend came to the rescue. She emailed and said she was unable to go but could get me in under her media pass. Lori from DISH Houston you are really a great friend you are always there to jump in and help in any way and your just so much fun! Thank you :) 

As you walk in{out} to the rooftop see an arsenal of pink, omgs the excitement im such a girl. You are welcomed with pink champagne, what a way to start off the party. To the left were mini pink cupcakes from sprinkles, pink candy apples, pink cotton candy a kissing booth, Tooties had a table set up with pink glasses and a raffle. There were magicians, and a fortune teller, oh and of course the dunking booth with well known bachelorette Erica Rose and bachelor Kalen McMahon being dunked for a cause. I guess people dont like him, but I honestly have never watched an episode of the bachelor pad. Bethany from Southerchicstyle was there to walk around with me and snap some photos of all the circus pink chic chaos. Oh I never mentioned the women on stilts, fashionable models walking in clothes provided by the hottest store in town Tootsies and the min ringer leader who started to boogie by the nights end.
